We use advanced laser technology, safe protocols, and cutting-edge removal methods to remove unwanted ink from the skin. Whether you have tattoo regret or want to use laser tattoo removal to alter an existing tattoo, Southern Regenerative Health has the solution!

Laser tattoo removal is widely regarded as the safest, most effective method for getting rid of ink trapped in your skin. Other methods like excision, surgery, salabrasion, and dermabrasion are harsh and painful methods that cause damage to the skin, even scarring. Our FDA-approved laser works with and supports your body’s immune system to naturally flush out the ink in your skin.

Our laser tattoo removal services include complete tattoo removal, selective tattoo removal, and fading of tattoos in preparation for a cover-up piece. We understand that every patient has a different motivation for wanting to remove their unwanted ink. Our goal is to give you the best treatment and results, no matter your removal reason, using the latest laser technology.

Our staff members are extremely passionate about restoring one’s skin and improving one’s health, both inside and out. They have received in-depth training from New Look Laser College, the world’s leading laser tattoo removal training program, and earned the designations of Certified Laser Specialist and Laser Safety Officer. Our team is well-versed in operating state-of-the-art Q-switched technology and customizes each patient’s protocols according to their unique skin type and tattoo.

Southern Regenerative Health is here to help you achieve the desired look for your skin. Contact us today to schedule a free consultation and learn more about laser tattoo removal in Gulfport, MS.

Laser tattoo removal uses advanced laser technology to speed up the natural fading process that is carried out by your immune system over multiple years. The moment a needle or tattoo gun penetrates your skin to embed ink particles into the dermis layer, your body is alerted.

Your immune system immediately recognizes the ink particles as a foreign substance and sends white blood cells to remove the ink. However, the blood cells are much smaller in comparison to the large ink particles that they’re only able to chip away small fragments of ink at a time. This explains why tattoos remain permanently trapped in your skin but fade and lose color over time.

Laser tattoo removal speeds up this fading process by shattering the large ink particles into tiny fragmented pieces that are small enough for your white blood cells to engulf and naturally remove. During a single treatment session, our Astanza Duality laser emits multiple pulses of light energy onto your unwanted ink. The ink particles absorb each light pulse, heat up, and shatter into fragmented pieces. Over the weeks following a treatment, your immune system will remove the shattered ink from your skin, causing your tattoo to lighten and lose color.

Because tattoos are comprised of various layers of ink, multiple treatments are needed to achieve complete tattoo removal. Each laser session targets the shallowest layer ink and works its way down until every large ink particle has been successfully broken up. Patients interested in simply lightening their tattoo in preparation for a cover-up may require fewer treatments than a patient who wants to completely remove all the ink from their skin.

Southern Regenerative Health offers free consultations and tattoo assessments to help determine the number of treatments your distinct tattoo will need. We have invested in the latest tattoo removal technology on the market to deliver the best tattoo removal results throughout Gulfport, MS and surrounding cities like Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Mobile, and Slidell.

See the Speed of Our System in Action

Southern Regenerative Health uses the most advanced Q-switched laser technology to ensure our patients receive the best results throughout the Gulfport-Biloxi area. Laser tattoo removal is only as successful as the technology used, which is why we’ve invested in the Astanza Duality laser.

The Astanza Duality is a state-of-the-art Q-switched Nd:YAG laser that combines ultra-short pulse duration with high pulse power to create intense peak power for optimal ink shattering and faster tattoo fading. This is especially beneficial for treating dark and stubborn tattoos in fewer sessions. The pulse duration of the Duality is so fast (6000 picoseconds) that it’s able to target and shatter ink without damaging any of the surrounding skin tissue.

The Duality also supports two essential wavelengths for treatment on a wide range of tattoo colors. From black, red, brown, violet, blue, yellow, orange and more, the Duality can completely remove ink in nearly all tattoos. Furthermore, the Duality’s 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths are safe to use on all skin types.

A common laser side effect for many patients with darker skin types V-VI is hypopigmentation or skin discoloration. Overtreatment of the skin can lead to a greater risk of injury and severe side effects. Our Duality features a homogenized square spot beam to allow for even treatment application and distribution of energy plus reduced treatment overlap. This advanced laser was designed with all patient skin types in mind, making treatment safer for patients.

Southern Regenerative Health uses the safest laser protocols for each individual tattoo and patient skin type. Our laser and skin knowledge paired with the Duality’s high performance and safety features makes us the leading solution for removing unwanted ink throughout the Gulfport area and surrounding cities.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of laser tattoo removal treatments needed is specific to each individual patient and their tattoo. Because every tattoo and patient is unique, we cannot apply the same number of treatments to everyone. During your free consultation, we will assess your tattoo using a variety of skin and tattoo factors to best estimate the number of treatments you will need to reach your desired goal. On average, most patients require 5 to 10 treatments to remove their tattoo completely. Patients wanting to lighten their tattoo for a cover-up or who have older tattoos that are already faded may only need 3 to 4 treatments. Our Astanza Duality laser is designed to eliminate more ink with each session, speeding up the fading process and reducing the number of overall treatments needed. Furthermore, Southern Regenerative Health uses the DESCRIBE® PFD Patch to increase the number of laser passes during a single treatment and provide even faster fading.

Is Laser Tattoo Removal Safe?

Laser tattoo removal is known to be the safest method for removing unwanted ink. Our Gulfport clinic uses FDA-approved laser technology and the FDA-approved DESCRIBE® PFD Patch to deliver the safest treatments using special laser protocols that are customized to your specific skin type.

How Much Does Laser Tattoo Removal Cost?

Southern Regenerative Health determines the price per treatment based on the size of the tattoo being removed. All of our consultations are complimentary and are used to assess your tattoo and determine the number of treatments you will need. We also offer special treatment packages and discounts to save you more on overall costs.

Does the Laser Hurt?

Laser tattoo removal is often compared to a rubber band repeatedly snapping against the skin. Majority of patients find the procedure to be very tolerable. Southern Regenerative Health provides skin numbing solutions to help alleviate your skin and mitigate any pain.

Are There Any Side Effects?

The most common side effects you may experience are temporary redness, swelling, itchiness, scabbing, blistering, and skin discoloration. These side effects are normal skin responses to the laser and heal over the weeks following a treatment. We urge all patients to follow the detailed aftercare instructions provided by our clinic.

Can You Lighten My Tattoo or Remove a Specific Part of My Tattoo?

Yes! Southern Regenerative Health is Gulfport’s leading expert in all things tattoo removal. We can completely remove your tattoo, selectively remove a part of your tattoo fading surrounding ink, and can also lighten a tattoo in preparation for a cover-up.
